Toxic Yuri's official Steam page and app data both list September 18, 2026. At this page's September 18 check, however, Steam still marked the full game Coming Soon and did not expose a US price. The calendar date is therefore confirmed, while purchase availability, launch pricing and the precise unlock moment still require a live storefront check.
The free Episode 1 demo is already downloadable and is a separate Steam app released June 5. A playable demo should not be confused with ownership of the 80,000-plus-word full game, and the developer has not stated on these store pages whether demo saves transfer to the paid release.

The player character is OL-san, an overworked office worker living in Kyoto. After finding Doku-chan asleep in a cardboard box, she brings the mysterious sludge woman home and begins a romance that moves between absurd comedy, deliberately unhealthy behavior and psychological horror. The premise and tone come from the developer's description; this page does not judge the writing or final build.
The full game is advertised as an 80,000-plus-word visual novel spanning six episodes. How OL-san treats Doku-chan changes the story and produces a TOXIC or TONIC episode rank. Toxic Yuri Demo is a free Steam download released June 5, 2026. Its store page says it contains all of Episode 1, approximately 15,000 words, and estimates about one hour to discover every story path. That estimate is for exploring all demo paths rather than a guaranteed first-play duration.
Episode 1 can end with Toxic, Tepid or Tonic relationship-health rankings. Unlike the current full-game listing, the demo advertises English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese interface and subtitle support. No full audio is listed in any of those languages.

Windows and Linux are listed; the macOS flag needs a major warning

Toxic Yuri Windows requirements are modest but minimum-only
Steam publishes only a minimum Windows specification: Windows 10, a 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, a DirectX- or OpenGL-compatible graphics card, DirectX 9 and 1 GB of storage. No recommended tier, target resolution or frame-rate claim is attached to those values.
