Dawson Oaks is out now at $9.99, with a launch discount ending September 24

Dawson Oaks Trailer Park released on Steam for Windows on September 17, 2026. Striped Panda first announced September 10, then moved the launch back one week while adding and polishing a new map. A later studio post specified a simultaneous 19:00 CEST / 13:00 ET / 10:00 PT unlock, and the live store now marks the game as released.

The US base price is $9.99. Steam currently applies a 10% introductory discount to $8.99 through September 24; regional prices differ. The store offers the paid game but no public Demo button or active Playtest signup, so old closed-test access should not be treated as a current free trial.

The round splits the park between Suspects, a public Supervisor and a hidden Snitch

Suspects receive criminal urges tied to their role and must act without making the crime obvious. The public Supervisor watches behavior, identifies what each person is doing and calls the police. The hidden Snitch blends in under a Suspect cover, observes the group and secretly reports information to the Supervisor.

Steam names 11 Suspect roles: Drug Dealer, Junkie, Moonshine Cook, Creep, Scrapper, Pyromaniac, Gambler, Thief, Drunk, Prankster and Hobo. Those names establish the roster, but the current store copy does not document every role's complete task list, items, cooldowns or win conditions.

What each role is officially asked to do
SideConfirmed jobImportant limit
SuspectsComplete role-specific crimes while staying inconspicuousExact role abilities and victory trigger are not fully documented
SupervisorWatch the park, identify crimes and call the policeArrest count, evidence rules and failure conditions are not explained on the store
SnitchUse a Suspect cover, track behavior and report to the SupervisorThe live number of Snitches per lobby is not published

Criminal urges restore Sanity, so waiting quietly can make a Suspect easier to expose

The official description says Suspects must commit their role-specific urges to stay sane. Delaying too long makes a character more unstable and easier for others to expose, which forces the criminal side to keep taking visible risks instead of hiding indefinitely.

Official storefront screenshots make that pressure concrete without proving the full live rules. A Thief screen lists pickpocketing, getting high in another trailer, stealing a microwave, lingering near another player's trailer and breaking in. A Snitch screenshot shows a Hobo cover with ordinary-looking urges plus an observation task. These are verified interface examples, not a promise that every round always produces the same list.

Suspects can call a meeting at any time to identify the Snitch

The store says Suspects may call a meeting at any moment. The group votes for the person it believes is the Snitch: a wrong vote leaves the real informant hidden, while a correct vote lets the Suspects “take control.” That is the official high-level outcome; the page does not spell out tie handling, abstentions, repeat meetings or what “take control” changes mechanically.

The opposing pressure is the Supervisor's police call. Official screenshots show an Arrest Available notice and separate meeting/arrest timers, but they do not establish the full evidence threshold, arrest cooldown, number of arrests or whether an arrested player remains involved. This guide therefore stops at the visible and written rules instead of inventing a complete strategy manual.

Steam lists online and LAN play, but still does not state the supported lobby size

The current Steam categories list Online PvP, LAN PvP, Online Co-op and LAN Co-op. No Single-player, Shared/Split Screen, cross-platform multiplayer or dedicated-server category is shown. The game is built around proximity voice chat, but neither the product page nor studio site publishes a minimum or maximum lobby size.

Launch networking is still being stabilized. In a September 18 update, Striped Panda said it fixed several bugs that could disconnect players as a match starts, while warning that the patch might not solve every case and asking affected players to keep reporting problems. That is a developer status note, not evidence that every lobby is broken or that the issue is fully resolved.

English carries the full audio; nine other languages are interface-only

Steam lists interface support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish from Spain, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Turkish and Brazilian Portuguese. Only English is marked for full audio, and the current language table does not mark subtitles. Because spoken deception is central, players who cannot use or understand the lobby's voice language need more detail than the store currently provides about captions, speech-to-text, text chat, mute and reporting tools.

The developer's mature-content statement covers criminal behavior, alcohol and drug use, smoking, stealing, mild cartoon violence and temporary knockouts, plus non-graphic suggestive comedy. It explicitly says there is no explicit sexual content, sexual violence or graphic violence. The store also lists 19 achievements and Family Sharing; macOS, Linux, consoles and VR are not announced.

The minimum asks for an i5-6400, GTX 960, 4 GB RAM and 5 GB storage

The recommended row raises memory to 8 GB and graphics to a GTX 1080 Ti, but does not name a recommended processor. Both tiers require DirectX 11, broadband internet and 5 GB of available storage; Windows 10 is the minimum OS and Windows 11 is recommended.

Striped Panda does not attach resolution, graphics preset or frame-rate targets to either tier. The requirements therefore describe components, not a verified performance guarantee, and this page makes no claim about Steam Deck behavior or post-launch optimization.
